The region saw a rise of just under 3%.
The number of people signing on in the midlands has seen an increase.
More than 10,500 people were on the Live Register in the region for June, up by 2.8%.
The highest number remains in Westmeath, at over 3,900, followed by Laois with 3,324.
Offaly saw 3,316 people signing on for the month - all three counties saw a rise in the numbers.
Nationally, there was a decrease on the Live Register of 1,300 less, falling 0.8% on the month prior.
