Yes, it's all about bees and the 100 species we have here in Ireland.
If you are a beginner, you can start with one or two hives in your back garden.
You can also do your bit for the bees by mowing less often, avoid spraying herbicides and insecticides in gardens and by planting pollinator-friendly flowers.
But John Donoghue from the Irish Federation of Bee Keepers, is the expert on this subject and he has been speaking with Emily Carroll from St. Mary's in Edenderry and Midlands 103's Sinead Hubble about how to keep bees:
