Both Buccaneers and Tullamore suffered losses over the weekend.
It was a tough weekend for midlands clubs in the Energia AIL.
Despite winning their first game of the season in their previous fixture, Darin Classin’s Tullamore couldn’t make it back to back wins as they suffered a 26-18 defeat away to Ballina in Division 2C.
Meanwhile, Buccaneers are still winless in in Division 1B after a heavy 45-19 loss at home to Old Belvedere.
The result leaves the Athlone club bottom of the table and still without a win in four games.
Both sides are back in action this weekend, with Buccs away to Queens and Tullamore travelling to Enniscorthy.
