Meanwhile trainer Nicky Henderson's confirmed stable jockey Nico de Boinville will ride Champ in the Wellchild Cheltenham Gold Cup with Aiden Coleman taking the ride on Santini.
Both are major players in a wide open renewal of steeple chasings Blue Riband. Champ won a Grade 1 Novice at last years Festival while Santini was runner up in the big race a year ago.
