Leonardo Fornaroli was crowned the Championship winner.
Alex Dunne finished third in the Formula 2 feature race in Qatar yesterday.
The Offaly man secured his eighth podium of the season, finishing behind race winner Victor Martins and Leonardo Fornaroli.
Fornaroli's second place finish recorded 18 points plus two for pole, leaving him on 211 points, meaning he's won the championship with a race to spare.
It marks back to back F2 and Formula 3 championships for Fornaroli.
Dunne reamins fifth in the standings on 149 points and is set to compete in the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi this weekend.
