The Clonbullogue man is gearing up for a massive year in Formula 2.
Alex Dunne is joining the Alpine Academy ahead of the Formula 2 Championship season.
The Offaly man will compete for Rodin Motorsport this season and has now officially joined Alpine’s young driver programme after leaving McLaren’s Driver Development Programme in October last year.
The 20 year old will also be targeting the 2026 championship after an impressive rookie season in F2, where he claimed two victories, two pole positions, and finished on the podium eight times, finishing fifth in the standings.
