New Zealand Rugby have confirmed they have voted for Agustin Pichot in World Rugby's election for the chairmanship

World Rugby vice-chairman Pichot has already been endorsed by Australia, while South Africa are expected to give their vote to the former Pumas captain.

The IRFU and the other Six Nations unions are expected to vote in favour of Bill Beaumont's re-election for a second four-year term.

World Rugby will confirm its new chairman at its annual general meeting on the 12th of May.
