Laois Hurlers start their Division 2B campaign away to Westmeath.
New Laois Senior Hurling Manager Tommy Fitzgerald says all his focus is on their opening Allianz Hurling League Division 1B clash against Westmeath.
Fitzgerald was announced as manager shortly after Darren Gleeson stepped down from the position in order to undergo cancer treatment.
Westmeath will be one of four away games for the O'Moore County over the course of the league, with Dublin providing the concluding fixture at home at the end of March.
