Anthony Eddy Steps Down From IRFU Director Role

It comes a day before a report on Ireland’s failure to qualify for the Women’s World Cup is due to be published.

Anthony Eddy has stepped down from his role as the IRFU’s Director of Sevens and Women’s Rugby. 

His departure comes the day before a report on Ireland’s failure to qualify for the Women’s World Cup is due to be published.

The IRFU say Eddy’s duties will be passed to existing staff in the interim.
