There was less fortune for Aoife's sister Lisa in Belgrade yesterday.
Aoife O'Rourke is well on her way to claiming a third European Championship gold medal after winning bronze in Serbia yesterday.
The Ballinasloe woman was too good for Hungary's Veronika Nakota in their quarter final bout and will now box for a silver medal in the semi-final after a unanimous decision.
She'll fight for silver on Thursday.
