It's Ciarán Kilduff's first win as first team manager.
Ciarán Kilduff's tenure as Athlone Town manager got off to a positive start on Saturday.
His side secured a first ever win in the All-Island Women's Cup with an impressive 2-1 win away to Linfield at Midgley Park.
Dana Scheriff gave the town a 13th minute lead before Mia Moore equalised for the Antrim side six minutes before half time.
Roisin Molloy's close range finish on 54 minutes was enough for the midlands side to end their group campaign in third place.
Athlone's next fixture is away to table toppers Peamount United on August 19th.
