Town levelled for a second time on the hour mark when Matthew Leal's 30 yard effort was spilled by Ramblers keeper Lee Steacy and bundled its way into the back of the net.
The midlanders are now two points behind the Cobh, with a trip to table toppers Galway United to come on Friday night.
