Dario Castelo's side scored all their goals in the first half.
Athlone Town ended a spell of bad results with an emphatic 4-1 win away to Wexford on Friday night.
Dario Castelo's side got back to winning ways after two previous defeats on the bounce.
Jamar Shane Campion-Hinds opened the scoring with a goal of the season contender, before Frantz Pierrot, Valeri Dolia and Matthew Leal were all on target before the half-time interval.
The win keeps the The Town fourth in the table, four points behind Cobh Ramblers.
The Town will host league leaders Galway United in their next fixture on Friday night, with a 7:45pm kick off time.
