A fifth consecutive league win for the midlanders leaves them two points off the top.
Athlone Town have an outside chance of winning the Women's National League this coming weekend.
They were 1-0 winners in the late kick off on Saturday after seeing Peamount and Wexford draw.

The results from the penultimate round leaves Shelbourne top of the league with Wexford a point behind in second, and Tommy Hewitt's side in third a further point off.
The midlanders will need to win their last match away to Bohs, and hope that Shels and Wexford draw against each other.
