It's their third young recruit of the week.
Thomas Oluwa has become the latest signing for Athlone Town.
The 21-year-old is the third player to put pen to paper this week, following the addition of Daniel Dobbin and Andy Spain. Both Dobbin and Spain are products of the academy system at Shamrock Rovers and St. Pats and at just 20-years-old, represent a commitment to youth by manager Martin Russell.
Oluwa is a striker who began life at Shamrock Rovers, featuring four times for their senior side and scoring four goals in 12 appearances for their 'B' team.

He signed for Bohemians at the outset of the 2021 campaign, subsequently moving onto Galway and the Larne FC in the Northern Ireland Premiership.
He made six appearances North of the border, notching one assist.
Oluwa adds to a deprived striking department, with Shane Barnes the only other player on the books at the moment who has featured in the centre-forward role predominantly in his career.
