Athlone Town Head To Limerick Looking For A Miracle

Manager Paul Doolin will have a keen eye on results elsewhere.

Athlone Town's involvement in the promotion hunt from the League of Ireland First Division could come to an end tonight. 

They're in Limerick to face Treaty United knowing only a win combined with defeat for Bray Wanderers against Cabinteely will see their journey continue to the final day. 

Paul Doolin is likely to stick with the same eleven that battled to a draw with Shelbourne in Tolka Park a week ago barring injury. 

Treaty will be delighted with their first season back and this level looking as if a post-season trip is secure but they will want to go into that playoff game in some semblance of form and they have only one win from their last five games at the moment. 

Kick-Off at Markets Fields is at 7:45.
