Athlone Town Looking For A Return To Winning Ways Tonight

The midlanders have suffered back to back defeats most recently.

Athlone Town are looking to return to winning ways this evening. 

The midlanders will need to atone for consecutive defeats if they're to keep pace at the top of the SSE Airtricity League Division One.

They visit surprise package Treaty United of Limerick who sit two places behind Athlone in fifth.

Captain Kurtis Byrne says the analysis shows their form is no fluke:

Rotation after those defeats to Cabinteely and Shelbourne could see a return to the starting line-up for leading scorer Stephen Meaney. 

There's continued concerns about the fitness of full-back Aidan Friel who has been absent for the last four games. 

Treaty themselves have a long injury list with six absentees and a couple suspended. 

The Limerick side haven't been shy of a card this season with each of their first four games featuring a dismissal.
