The nominees for the 2025 Soccer Writers Ireland Awards have been announced.
There are five representatives from Athlone Town for the award of Women’s Personality of the Year.
Kelly Brady, Madison Gibson, Hannah Waesch, Kayleigh Shine and ex manager Colin Fortune are shortlisted, alongside Wexford’s Ellen Molloy.
Meanwhile, league and cup double champions, Shamrock Rovers have three nominees in the Men’s Personality of the Year, with Ed McGinty also up for the goalkeeper of the year award.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Clontarf Castle Hotel in Dublin on Friday December 5th.
