He takes charge as the side will lift the Women's Premier Division title this weekend.
John Sullivan has signed a two-year deal as manager of the Athlone Town women's team.
He had previously been Assistant Manager for the club's men's team, before taking over as the Women's interim manager last month.
Meanwhile, it's a special weekend for Athlone Town as they will lift the Women's Premier Division title for the second season in a row.
John Sullivan's side welcome Sligo Rovers to the midlands for the final game of the season, a week before they take on Bohemians in the FAI Cup decider.
Town clinched the title with a 4-0 away win against Cork City last week.
Assistant Head Coach Gordan Brett says the European games against Cardiff City and Red Star Belgrade are his two season highlights:
Kick off is at 4:30pm from Lissywollen tomorrow.
