Athlone Travel To Galway In Hopes Of Securing Another Win

Town are aiming for a sixth win in a row in all competitions.

After an 11 day break, Athlone Town return to action in the Women's Premier Division this evening. 

They travel to Galway United hoping to make it six wins in a row and go within one point behind their opponents in the table. 

The two sides have already met three times this season, with Athlone winning the previous fixture in a penalty shootout in the FAI Cup. 

Speaking before the game to Midlands 103's Liam White, their manager Ciaran Kilduff says it's a great opportunity for his squad ahead of the end of season run-in:
