Athlone Town's Muireann Devaney was part of a home based Ireland Women's National Team training camp this week.
The teenager has represented Ireland and underage level and continued her strong performances for Athlone this season.
Devaney came through the ranks at Sligo Rovers, winning their U17 player of the season last year.
The lack of a senior side in the North-West meant the Leitrim native joined the midlanders to begin her career in the Women's National League.
She's also been part of Glencar/Manorhamilton's success in winning the Leitrim LGFA title in 2020 and also represented her native county at senior level.
Head Coach Vera Pauw has been running her eye over a group of home based players at Abbottstown this week.
Athlone's women are back at home for the first time in a month tomorrow.
They welcome Cork City for a 7pm start.
