Offaly SHC: Ballinamere Survive Tullamore Fightback To Claim Spoils

Dan Bourke will be out for a period after picking up a suspected dislocated shoulder.

In the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship, Ballinamere survived a late fightback to emerge with their 100% record intact.

Last year's beaten quarter finalists ran out 1-22 to 0-21 winners in front of a sizeable home crowd.

Sean Treacy's side will have to do without Dan Bourke for the championship's coming games.

The forward suffered a suspected dislocated shoulder and is expected to be sidelined for the next month at least.

Brian Duignan top scored for the home side with 1-6, while Shane Dooley hit 0-14 for Tullamore, with 13 from frees and 65s.
