Bid For Euro 2028 Won't Hurt Domestic Game - FAI Chief

The FAI is looking to host the Euros, alongside UK footballing associations.

FAI chief executive Jonathan Hill says a joint-bid for Euro 2028 won’t hurt the domestic game. 

The association announced a €1.5 million funding boost for grassroots football yesterday. 

That announcement came 24-hours after the FAI threw their hat in the ring with English, Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish associations in a bid to host Euro 2028.

But Hill insists the domestic game will not suffer financially because of the bid:
