Laois manager Billy Sheehan is taking responsibility for his side's hammering at the hands of Down in Croke Park yesterday.
The game was all but over midway through the first period as Conor Laverty's side ran rampant.
The final score read 8-16 to 2-12 and Down move on to the Tailteann Cup Final to take on Meath who squeezed by Antrim.
