Former Ireland captain Brian O'Driscoll is calling for Connacht outhalf Jack Carty to be given another chance in an Ireland shirt.

The 28 year old hasn't featured for Ireland since the 2019 World Cup, and has fallen behind Ross Byrne and Billy Burns in the pecking order.

Ireland have struggled to find a suitable backup to captain Johnny Sexton, who missed the weekend defeat against France due to injury.

O'Driscoll says the Connacht outhalf Carty fits the bill:
