Offaly Minor Football manager Roger Ryan says he never lost faith in his team after they stormed to the county's first minor football title in 36 years.
Louth were chasing an unprecedented clean sweep in Leinster, with the Wee County having already won provincial honours in the senior and under 20 grades.
After falling four points behind after conceding a penalty in the final ten minutes, Offaly came roaring back with scores from Tony Furey, Eamon Maher and a double two pointer from goalkeepper Jack Ryan.
