The two year old colt brings impressive course form back to the Curragh this weekend.
One of the great stories in flat racing this year is the rise of the midlands trained 'Bucanero Fuerte' who won the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh and now heads for the Group 1 Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes at the same track on Day 2 of Irish Champions Festival this Sunday.
Bucanero Fuerte is saddled by Westmeath's Adrian Murray.
The Rathowen man also watched the two year old colt finish an impressive third in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot before winning the Group 2 Railway Stakes at the Curragh.
Murray expects Bucanero Fuerte to train on well in to next year where the Irish and British classics such as the 2,000 Guineas and Derby.

The National Stakes goes to post at the Curragh for 4pm, while the card starts from 1pm.
