The Buccs fell to a 29-12 defeat in challenging weather conditions at Hamilton Park, where their opponents secured a bonus point victory.
Sligo led 24-0 at the break thansk to three first half tries, with captain Corey Reid narrowing the gap to 24-12 with two second half tries.
However, a late Louis McVitty try sealed the bonus point win for Sligo.
The Buccs will welcome UL Bohemian to Dubarry Park this weekend.
