Buccs Fall To Final Kick Defeat Against Blackrock

Paul Byrne's side were close to doing the double over the Dublin club.

Buccaneers fell to an agonising defeat in the final stages of their AIL clash with Blackrock over the weekend.

The Westmeath club were leading by a solitary point before conceding a late penalty which Blackrock converted to win the game on a final scoreline of 23 - 21.

A losing bonus point defeat does lift the Buccs off the foot of the Division 1B table.

They'll next be in action Garryowen in Dooradoyle this weekend.
