In the Offaly SFC Ferbane had a big win against Gracefield, Rhode defeated Tullamore by two points, Shamrocks had six points to spare against Clara while Edenderry were the comfortable winners against Cappincur.

In the Laois SHC Clough/Ballacolla 2-17 Borris in Ossory 1-16, Camross 1-18 Abbeyleix 0-13, Ballinakill 1-19 Portlaoise 1-13.

In Westmeath the results in the SFC as follows: Mullingar Shamrock's 2-19 Tyrellspass 0-10, The Downs 4-11 Athlone 0-8, Killucan 4-14 Castledaly 1-10, Coralstown/Kinnegad 3-9 St Mary's Rochfortbridge 0-8, Rosemount 4-9 Shandonagh 0-8.

In the big game of the weekend St Loman's turned on the style to beat Garrycastle by 5-14 to 2-12.
