Camogie League Starts This Weekend

Laois manager looking forward to the new season

The opening round of the Littlewoods Ireland National League gets underway this weekend.

All matches involving local sides are on Sunday

In Division One Offaly are away to Waterford and there is no venue for that match yet.

In Division Two Westmeath are at home to Kilkenny


Also in Division Two Laois will begin their campaign with an away game against Tipperary.

The team have been training away after the controversy earlier in the year when it looked like the county would not have any Camogie team at all.

The O'Moore County will be managed this year by Cork man John Desmond who has been very impressed by the Laois players since he took over:

Also in Division Three Offaly have a home game against Wicklow.
