Captain Aimee Kelly Thanks Supporters For Massive Backing

Signs and bunting were abound across the county and did not go unnoticed.

All Ireland Intermediate Champions Laois has the massive backing from their supporters to thank for their success this year.

That's according to the team's captain Aimee Kelly who lifted the Mary Quinn Memorial Cup in the Hogan Stand on Sunday.

Much like their losing Leinster Semi Final appearance against Wexford earlier in the season, Laois enjoyed a healthy lead until the second half, only to be reeled in by the Model County approaching the end of the game.

Laois held on and Kelly says her side felt the support before and during the game:
