Abbeyleix Athletic suffered a damaging 6-1 defeat away to St Peter’s, and in Division 1 Birr Town were 4-2 winners over Rosenallis.
Meanwhile, in the Leinster Senior League, Portlaoise thumped Ardmore Rovers 8-1, while Mullinagr Athletic were 2-1 winners over Balbriggan in Major Sunday 1.
Elsewhere, Edenderry Town were beaten 2-1 away to UCD AFC in Senior 1, but did pick up a 3-0 win away to Ballyfermot in Division 3A Sunday.
