CCFL Results: Abbeylix And Gallen Earn Draws While Birr Suffer Late Defeat

Portlaoise secured a win in Division One.

In the Combined Counties Football League Senior Division,

Abbeyleix Athletic played a second consecutive 1-1 draw of the season at home in Father Breen Park to Willow Park.

Despite goals from Ronan Bergin and Johnny Corboy, Birr fell to a late 3-2 defeat at home to Monksland United.

Meanwhile Gallen United also claimed a 1-1 draw at home to Ballinahown.

In Divsion 1, Portlaoise had a 4-2 win away to Monksland United and Birr Town had a 3-1 defeat away to Temple Villa.

Elsewhere in Division two of the CCFL it finished,

Emo Celtic 3 Tullamore Town 0

St Peter's 0 Birr 5

Grange United 1 Banagher United 2

And in Division Three,

It finished Cloneygowan Celtic 4 Clara Town 2
