Gallen Utd once again played out a 1-1 draw away to Monksland United, while Birr Town were 3 - 1 winners in the 2nd round of the LFA Cup at home to Lions AFC.
Nicky Molloy scored twice with Riann McLoughlin adding a third to send them into the next round.
Meanwhile in Division 1, Clonaslee had a 1-0 win over Portlaoise, with Coolraine and Birr Town sharing the points in a 3-3 draw.
