Abbeyleix Athletic played out an entertaining 5-4 win over Grange United in the Paddy Cotter Cup first Round, while Mullingar Athletic A were 6-1 winners over Melville United in the second round.
Elsewhere, it finished Mullingar Athletic Swans 1-0 Mountmellick United and Ballymackey 0-1 Bealnamulla in the Women’s Division One.
