Laois Senior Hurling Manager Seamus 'Cheddar' Plunkett insists that they must strive to remain in the Leinster Championship rather than rebuild in the Joe McDonagh.
A heavy defeat to Westmeath on Saturday means that Laois will play in the second-tier of championship hurling next year, unless Kerry win the Joe McDonagh Cup Final.
