Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and midfielder N'Golo Kante will miss the match because of injuries.
That match kicks off at 8pm, with the other Group game involving Milan and Dinamo Zagreb.
Potter has admitted that he's never been to a Champions League fixture before, but he is embracing this new adventure.
In Group G, Manchester City are at home to Borussia Dortmund, with Erling Haaland set to face his old club.
John Stones is also fit.

The other match in that Group sees Copenhagen host Sevilla (pr: Sev-ee-ya).
Celtic are in Poland to face Shakhtar Donetsk in Group F from 5.45.
The other match in that Group is between Real Madrid and Leipzig.
Rangers host Napoli in Group A at Ibrox from 8pm.
In Group H, Juventus play Benfica and it's Maccabi Haifa against Paris Saint Germain.
Arsenal's Europa League match at home to PSV Eindhoven has been rescheduled for the 20th of October.
It was initially supposed to be played tomorrow evening - but there were insufficient resources to police the game following the death of Queen Elizabeth the second.
The new date has been set after the Premier League agreed to postpone the Gunners' fixture with Manchester City the day before.
