Chelsea Top Group While Liverpool Hope For Bounce Back

Jurgen Klopp's side are struggling for consistency

Chelsea's ascent to the top of Group E in the Champions League came at a price.

Reece James limped out of their 2-0 win away to AC Milan.
Pep Guardiola decided not to risk Erling Haaland in Manchester City's goalless draw with Copenhagen in Group G.

The City manager said the 20 goal Norwegian was tired after the weekend's win over Southampton.
And Celtic remain rooted to the bottom of Group F following last night's 2-nil defeat at home to R-B Leipzig.

Liverpool will look to put their latest Premier League set-back behind them when they take on Rangers at Ibrox tonight in Champions League Group A.

Kick off in Glasgow is at 8.

Napoli will book their last 16 place if they maintain their 100 per cent record at home to Ajax (pr: Eye-ax).
Having taken one point from the last six available, Tottenham need a win tonight at home to Eintracht Frankfurt in Group D.

That game also has an 8pm start.

The other tie in that Group sees Sporting host Marseille.
