Cheltenham Day Two: Il Etait Temp Takes Home Victory In The Champion Chase

Today's feature is the Champion Chase.

Willie Mullins has enjoyed another victory on day two of the Cheltenham Festival with Il Etait Temps taking the honours in the Champion Chase. 

With Paul Townend on board, the eight-year-old enjoyed a comprehensive success.

Pre-race favourite Majborough was in seventh. 

Mullins also claimed two wins earlier in the day with King Rasko Grey the winner of the Novices Hurdle, while Kitzbuhel won the Novices Chase. 

The Gavin Cromwell trained Final Orders took victory in the Cross Country Chase.

Jingko Blue, trained by Nicky Henderson, was the winner of the Coral Cup. 

Jockey Paul Townend achieved a 40th Cheltenham win in the opening race on day two.

King Rasko Grey trained by Willie Mullins won the Grade One Turners Novices' Hurdle at 11-to-1.

Mullins also enjoyed success in the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase with Kitzbuhel, while the Coral Cup went the way of Jingko Blue for Nicky Henderson. 

At seven to one, the Gavin Cromwell trained Final Orders took victory in the Cross Country Chase.
