If Offaly can overcome Down, they will meet Roscommon or Kildare.
All Offaly eyes will be on Newry this Sunday but at the same time, Kildare and Roscommon will be doing battle for the other final spot in the Christy Ring.
Kildare were due to meet Michael Fennelly's side in the opening round before covid-19 protocol meant the faithful had to avail of the backdoor route to this weeked's semi-finals.
