The Offaly footballer has impressed during the early stages of his career.
Offaly footballer Cillian Bouke is set to become the first player from the county to join an AFL club.
The 19 year old will be signed by Melbourne based club Essendon as a Category B rookie for the next two years.
Bourke has impressed for both his club Tullamore and the Offaly Seniors this year, and is set to line out for Tullamore in their Leinster Football semi-final against Ballydoden St Endas tomorrow.
This move will raise the total number of Irish players on AFL lists in 2026 to 15.
