This Saturday's game with England will be his last in the green jersey.

CJ Stander has announced his retirement from rugby.

The Ireland and Munster back row is stepping back at the end of the season.

This Saturday's Six Nations clash with England will be his final game in the green jersey.

In a statement released on social media, the South African says he knows the day to hang up his boots has arrived and thanked all those he worked with while playing in Ireland.

He's played 150 games with Munster and 50 caps with Ireland.
