Clane Were The Better Side - Clonad Manager

The Laois side missed out on reaching a provincial decider.

Clonad have had a great year and represented the county proudly. 

That's the view of Clonad hurling manager David O'Brien as his side fell to a 2-22 to 1-6 defeat to Kildare side Clane in their Leinster Junior semi-final. 

The Laois Intermediate winners secured a three point win over Dublin side St Kevin's in the quarter finals, but were convincingly beaten by the Kildare winners.
