Clare's Fidelma Marrinan and Chloe Maloney are being singled out for praise by Westmeath.
A "great player" was the difference between Westmeath and Clare in their All Ireland Intermediate Football Championship semi-final.

Clare started fast but Westmeath managed to reel them back in by half time with the scores deadlocked at 3-5 a-piece.
However it was the Banner County that pulled away in the second period for a six point win a place in the semi finals.
