Diagnosis and treatment of concussion to be addressed
UPMC Concussion Network and Laois GAA are holding a UPMC Concussion Network Educational Workshop on the 24th February 2020 at Midland Park Hotel, Portlaoise from 6.45pm - 9.00pm.
This is an excellent opportunity to meet with and learn from concussion specialists in your region including UPMC Concussion Network Clinical Lead, Dr Tadhg Crowley and UPMC Concussion Network Lead Physiotherapist, Derek O'Neill, who will demonstrate a new model for the diagnosis and treatment of concussion.
UPMC Concussion Network clinicians will demonstrate how ImPACT neurocognitive baseline & post-injury testing has become part of their concussion management programme, along with the pathway in place to support clinicians, coaches and parents nationwide with access to testing, treatment and follow-up care for concussion.
