It follows a tough year at the helm of the county team.
Westmeath Camogie are looking for a new senior manager.
Padraic Connaughton is stepping down from the role after two years.
2024 represented a major success for the Lake County with Connaughton leading his team to a Division 2A title in Croke Park.
This year, Connaughton struggled to produce results and dropped back into 2A after losing all five league games.
Westmeath did manage to blitz Kildare in the Intermediate Championship relegation final to maintain their status last month.
The county's board is thanking Connaughton for his wholehearted dedication and committment.
