Conroy Always Confident Of Securing Olympic Qualification

Ireland will now compete at next summer's Olympic Games in Paris.

Tullamore's Jordan Conroy believes Ireland "saved their best performance" till the final against Great Britain.  

The Offaly native scored two tries during his side's 26-12 victory over Great Britain last night to secure qualification to the Paris Olympics next summer.

James Topping's side claimed Gold at the European Games, with Conroy going over five times during the campaign .

Qualification also means that it will be the first time that both the men and women's sevens teams will be competing at the Olympic games at the same time.
