Marist College, Athlone secured their place in the semi-finals.
There was controversey surrounding a score in the Br Bosco Cup this week.
Marist College, Athlone and Terenure College clashed in the Senior A Quarter Final, with the Westmeath school winning 3-2 on penalties after the game ended 3-15 each.
However, the match was marred by a pair of controversial decisions from the officials, most notably a late Terenure point attempt that one umpire signalled as good while the other judged it wide.
The referee ultimately disallowed the score, a decision that denied the traditional rugby powerhouse a place in the semi-finals.
The classic biased GAA umpire🤣😅
