There's a possibility GAA fixtures in Westmeath won't go ahead until after September 13th.
Delegates in the county will meet later to discuss their response to last night's government announcement that fans cannot be present in stadiums.
County Chairman Billy Foley says the move is nonsensical and wants Croke Park to issue a blanket postponement of all games around the country.
Fourteen fixtures are down for decision in the football championships in the lake county this weekend, with underage games also due to take place tonight and throughout the week.
